The Aarón Sánchez Scholarship Fund was founded in 2016 and we have had 3 recipients thus far. In the 2020 program, we will be sending 3 students to New York to receive the ICC culinary education, mentorships and industry experience.

Natalia is from the small town of Orocovis in Puerto Rico. She grew up in a very large family and learned how to cook for large groups from her grandmother starting at a very young age. She loves sports and culinary, but has ultimately chosen path towards becoming a leader in the food world. She hopes to one day open her own restaurant in Puerto Rico to showcase the wide array of dishes they have to offer as well as celebrate and honor her culture and heritage.
